The poison had been eaten. I lay about the red velvet lounge half-aware, red and white hearts dancing before my eyes, my whole being sumptuously being consumed by the chair. I should have never had strayed from the group. Ponderously recall experiences from earlier: a Storybook world, an Alice, an enemy. 'Rat-catcher,' I murmur. 'You think you're so chill.' Tried our best to swim to another story, but all we found were crocodile carcasses and a broken hook.

  1. I like the references to Alice, but in such a dark sense. The images of the hearts floating around and the broken book were very strong. I could see this and it makes me want to know what has happened to her and what will happen :)

You are so very young and posess such talents, I can see such great things in your future and will be first in line when your first book gets published! What do you wish to be in the future dearest?

  3. It's actually a broken hook, although the story is definitely broken as well. Thank you for reading! I do think this is rather dark.

  4. How very thrilling! My curiosity is piqued. The first line grabbed me instantly; poison quite fascinates me. Don't worry, you don't have a future murderess on your hands. Just a girl who has a propensity towards murder mysteries. :)

  5. Thank you! Wow Jhordyn, we basically posted our last comments at the same time. Sorry for skipping you! xD I would like to be lawyer specializing in international affairs, and perhaps go into politics.

Melee: All of the females in my family love reading murder mysterious, lol, especially James Patterson and Mary Higgens Clark. I read them occasionally too. :)

  9. *shiver* Fascinating, dark, intriguing piece. I think I would still take my chances with the dead crocodiles and broken hook - at least it's vaguely familiar in such a dislocated world... x

  11. Dear, I'm very confused about the C Society. Did you create it? I joined but I couldn't find you anywhere. And would you be very insulted if I unjoined? I like the idea of it, and I will stick around for a while to see what other people write, but I also don't feel like I truly belong there. Mermaidism is where I belong. Is that alright? Oh please don't be upset. Anyway, I'm definitely sticking around for now; my curiosity is burning. xxxx

  12. Hi John! Of course I don`t mind, thank you for reading. :)

Mckenzie: You are too kind, always. I'm undeserving. xx

Thank you, Char! I'm sorry for not commenting lately, I haven't had the time to read many blogs nowadays, and when I do it is sporadic. xx

    Cinnamon: Lufferly as usual. <3

Thea: It was scary, not like Echolalia at all. Felt that the crocodiles were dead but still wanted to swim with them in the hopes there was one..

Never fear, it is not a place for writing like before. Discussion, ideas, etc.. Soon, we'll create a chat room and hold our first rendezvous. If you would not like to participate, I completely understand, dear one, some may not feel comfortable, and I won't hold it against you. xxx
